DAD
Director: Leonie Marzecki
Writer: Phil Charles
Theatre Company: Full Disclosure
Venue: Southwark Playhouse
Dad is a short black comedy written by Phil Charles for the new writing event Xposed at Southwark Playhouse. It tells the story of Man City fan Kyle, a teenager from Manchester, who, after seeing his dead Dad in a vision during footie practice, decides to finally come out to his gambling Mum. It's a heart warming coming of age play about family, coming out and scattering ashes on City's pitch.
